Cookie policy

Save Often Games shows advertising to keep the walkthroughs free to read. Advertising involves cookies, and this page explains which ones and why.
How your consent is handled
We use Google's certified Consent Management Platform. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are set, with the choice to consent, to refuse, or to manage individual purposes and vendors.
Your choice is stored by the consent platform itself so you are not asked on every visit. You can change it at any time using the Privacy & cookie settings link in the footer of any page, which reopens the same message. That link only appears in regions where a consent message applies.
Advertising cookies
Google and its advertising partners may set cookies to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure performance. Common ones include:
__gads,__gpiโ ad selection and frequency capping.NID,IDEโ set on Google domains for ad preferences and measurement.
Where you have refused consent, or where you have not been asked because no consent message applies in your region, Google may still servenon-personalized ads. These are targeted using only the page you are reading and coarse location, not a profile built from your browsing history.
Google's own description of how it uses this data is atpolicies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
What we don't do
We set no first-party tracking or analytics cookies of our own, and we do not run analytics. The walkthrough progress trackers (checked-off steps, score totals) are not stored anywhere at all โ that state lives only in the open page and is lost as soon as you reload or close the tab.
Blocking cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, and that applies here as it does anywhere. Blocking advertising cookies does not stop you reading anything on this site.
